Richard Tongue is the author of numerous books in the science-fiction, fantasy and historical genres, and has penned more than fifty novels over the last six years, since making the decision that he didn’t wish to die at his office desk – ironic, given he now once more spends most of his time sitting at such a desk, but at least now is not forced to wear a tie. He holds a degree in War Studies and History from Kings College London, and wishes he had spent far more time studying during his time in university; he’s tried to make it up since! In addition to working as an author, Richard is also far more active than sanity would advise in local politics, and enjoys wandering through the countryside on long walks, attempting to work out where he is going. One day he’ll get there. One day. He lives in rural Shropshire, owned by his cat.
